The Charlotte Country Cultural Center Theater will host a Special Premiere Performance of "Rocky Mountain Memories - A Tribute to John Denver". The production stars Tom Becker, a former member of the legendary folk group, The New Christy Minstrels, backed by a full band, in an intimate concert setting. Wrapped around a poignant and often humorous look at his life in folk music, the show features John Denver's biggest hits including "Annie's Song", "Country Roads" and "Rocky Mountain High", along with lesser known Denver songs that are sure to please long-time fans.

Microsoft and Netflix today announced that 1 million Xbox LIVE Gold members have downloaded and activated the Xbox LIVE application from Netflix since the alliance launched last November. In less than three months the Xbox LIVE community has watched instantly 1.5 billion minutes of movies and TV episodes. In addition to Netflix in the United States, Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace offers over 17,000 pieces of standard and high-definition (HD) content to the Xbox LIVE community.

The highly anticipated XPA-1 Differential Reference Monoblock amplifier from Emotiva Audio will make its debut in November 2008, as a special limited edition of 10 units will be sold to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “Serial numbers 1 through 10 are very special – a limited edition, if you will,” explains general manager Lonnie Vaughn. “All XPA-1’s will have a laser-etched serial number plate, but the limited edition models will have a completely laser-etched faceplate as well.
